On Saturday 27th of February 2010, a very successful open meeting was held at the College of Medicine, Blantyre to plan the formation of a Mental Health service users and carers society for Malawi.The meeting was attended by over 30 users and carers, as well as representatives from College of Medicine, Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, FEDOMA (Federation of Disability Organisations of Malawi) and SMMHEP (Scotland-Malawi Mental Health Education Project).
